I'm actually not hosting my film blog there (on the school server) either. I am, however, using a fantabulous new microblogging-for-education site called edmodo, and that's where my film students will be getting their content from now on.
I will, however, be coming back to this site soon, for other purposes...definitely film related! Stay tuned....

Welcome, Fall 2008 Film Students: this page is MOVING!
Hello! Welcome to Film Appreciation, the class in which we watch films, talk about films, read about films, and even make films.
Sadly, after over 5 years in this location, my film class blog will be MOVING as of mid-September, 2008. Film buffs, students and teachers from all over the world have responded and linked to my blog, and I thank everyone for their support over the years.
We'll still use this site temporarily (but not for long) until our new site launches. The new Film Class blog will be found via the new GCHS homepage, hosted by our new web portal provider, SharpSchool. Once the new page launches (sometime in mid-September), just find "English Department", then my name, then the Film Appreciation link on the left, and then click on "Film Class Blog". See you there!

Thus, we end another semester of Film Appreciation. If nothing else, I hope you have learned to, er, appreciate films? Or, at least appreciate some films--and aspects of film--that you may not have before. And Prez, I hope at least one of them was a "good film"! ;-) Seniors: best of luck in all your future endeavors...see you at the movies!
